Chromebook Reset

Make sure you are using the Chrome browser

Make sure the browser is up-to-date

Clear your browser cache and cookies for all times (Click here for instructions)

  • Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser
  • Click Settings (at the very bottom of the menu)
  • Once inside the settings click Reset Settings on the menu on the left side of the screen
  • Click Restore settings to their original defaults
  • When Restore settings is finished
  • Close the Chrome browser
  • Log out of the Chromebook
  • Remove your account by clicking on the down arrow next to your name
  • Confirm the removal      
  • Shut down the Chromebook for about five seconds
  • Power on the Chromebook
  • Open Chrome and see if this corrects the problem
